TAYME, S.A. is a company that is situated in Vitoria, capital of the Basque Country in the north of Spain. The city has an excellent network of services and communications. The company was set up in 1984 by highly experienced personnel from the company SIERRAS ALAVESAS, which had disappeared, and dedicated its activity from the outset to manufacturing machinery for the first processing of wood. Its main activity is focused on the design and construction of stationary saw yard machinery for all kinds of wood, from the trunk that arrives at the saw mill to its transformation in different joints, carrying out the work of disbarking, sawing, edging, retesting, etc. The firm has 10.5 million pesetas share capital, subscribed by 6 members, with its own installations and production means. There is a workforce of 22 persons, with an approximate turnover of 300 million pesetas, 20% of which corresponds to exports.
